No Hope

Lost in a terrible pool of despair
wondering, wondering if I dare,
Seeking a way out of this pain
I take myself to a higher plain,
Where these people cannot hurt me
where they can never possibly be,
It is a place of utter calm
of lovely peace and blissful balm,
